Who we are
PFIC Investments (pfic-investments.com) is an educational website that is part of the American Expat Advisors family. Contact: hello@pfic-investments.com.
What we collect
When you request the free guide, we store:
- your email address (required) and first name (optional);
- the date and time of each request, the guide edition and the page you requested it from;
- whether you ticked the optional updates box, and if so the wording you agreed to, its version and the time;
- whether our access email was sent successfully.
To limit abuse, we also keep short-lived, one-way hashed records of request attempts. We do not ask for phone numbers, account details or financial information, and we do not create visitor accounts.
How we use it
- to give you access to the guide and email you a time-limited download link;
- only if you opted in, to send occasional educational updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. Getting the guide never depends on this choice.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in this website's hosted backend and are not readable by other visitors. The guide file is kept in private storage and is only released through time-limited links.

To ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, or to withdraw consent for updates, email hello@pfic-investments.com.
